My experience at Bethany home has given me a whole new perspective on love. When I first came to Bethany Home, I was a little skeptical of the environment and kids. as time went on, my love for the kids grew. Love was the one factor that helped me overcome the language barrier with the kids. I may not always know how to communicate with the kids, but showing my love to them brought smiles to their faces. often people view these kids as outcasts, but each individual has a unique quality. Everyday the kids wake up early to perform laboring tasks such as milking goats, farming, and managing the bamboo plantation. Despite the hot weather and the hard labor, the kids still put a smile on their face as they work. Although these kids are somewhat mentally challenged, each of them are blessed with a special ability
