Tax Services

Free Tax Filing (E-file)

Chinese Christian Herald Community Center partners with the IRS to provide VITA free e-filing tax services (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), helping low- to moderate-income U.S. citizens, green card holders, and California residents with valid work authorization (EAD) file their taxes with confidence at convenient locations throughout Chinese communities.

Low Income Taxpayer Clinics

If you have a tax dispute with the IRS or the State of California, the Herald Community Center Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) may be able to help. We provide free and confidential legal representation and tax advice to eligible low-income individuals at all stages of a tax case, including audits, appeals, court proceedings, and collections, covering issues such as EITC, Child Tax Credit, filing status, innocent spouse relief, and worker classification.
